Model at bow window

Strong Swedish light pouring in from the studio’s bow window from which we also see much of the yellow Stockholm façades. The model is sitting indolently and a little anonymously on the right side. The interior’s smooth colours, the nude’s delicate complexion and the outdoor light are perfectly matched. Reminiscences ? Bonnard, of course, who painted exactly in this manner the same year.
