Perhaps we have one of the Marne taxis here preparing to go to
the front ! This Paris night view made in watercolour is very
thorough in its lightness, and we can see that Dick Beer mastered
the difficult watercolour technique as well as did his father
the aquarellist John Beer (1853-1906). |
