A very delicate oil on canvas one hundred
percent impressionist and that enchanted the great Swedish critic
Axel Gauffin at Beer’s debutant exhibition in 1913, reminding
how late and little Swedish painting had been influenced by
French impressionism: “But that’s not the sole reason
why this beautiful first exhibition is so unexpected and beams
as a striking mirage.”
